SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENT

REQUIRED - During the summer, read and enjoy three (3) books. Select books you'll like from the list provided so that you'll have a good time reading. After all, it's summer. For each of your books, please complete a READING LOG. These will be collected during the first week of school.

SILVER TEAM ONLY -- Please be sure that one of your reading choices is the book, Within Reach: My Everest Story by Mark Pfetzer. We will share experiences in class about the theme(s) of this story.

EXTRA CREDIT - Read a fourth book (or fifth, or sixth...!!).
You may either illustrate an important scene from the book, complete another log, or make a book jacket.
